History– Celebrating 20 years of commitment to excellence in musical instruction and visual arts, the FRC Conservatory seeks to help students develop their talents to use for God’s glory.

Mission– As part of the fulfilling the great Commission, the Conservatory is a Musical Outreach and Leadership Development component of FRC; helping individuals connect to God through His, Son Jesus Christ, and teaching our students the art of worship through instrumental and Drama performances.

Inclement Weather– With the presence of multiple school districts within Forsyth County and the surrounding towns, the FRC Conservatory will follow its own schedule of closing for inclement weather. Notification of closing will be posted to the home page of the FRC’s website www.firstredeemer.org by 8:00 a.m. on the day of closing. In the event that inclement weather hits us during the day, the web-site will be updated immediately – please check the web-site throughout the day.  In addition, we will make every attempt to contact you.

Cancelation and Makeup Lessons– It is a requirement to notify the teacher when the student is unable to take a lesson.  Lessons will be made up for excused absences. Excused absences include: student sickness and a death in the family. Notification of at least eight hours in advance entitles the student to a makeup lesson for an excused absence. One (1) make up lesson is allowed per semester.  Group lessons will not be made up, unless the instructor is absent.

No Shows– A missed lesson without a phone call is a no show and will not be made up.

Teacher Absences– All lessons due to teacher’s absence will be made up.

Payment– Option 1 - Payment in full is due by the first lesson. Option 2 - Half payment is due by the first lesson with the balance due in 45 days.

Sign In & Sign Out - Parents are required to walk students inside the lobby and sign in.  Instructors will receive the student in the lobby. Parents and siblings are required to remain in the lobby during their child's lesson time.

Withdrawal Policy - Notification must be given in writing four (4) weeks (lessons) before the date requesting to withdraw.

Student Pledge - Students, remember that your parents are making sacrifices on your behalf every time you are here for a lesson. They have spent money and have given up doing things for themselves just to get you to each lesson. Please honor your mother and father by showing your appreciation. One way to do that is to take advantage of this opportunity to learn and master an instrument by practicing and being prepared for your lessons. These lessons are an investment in your future and your success is directly related to the effort you put in. I hope your experience this semester is one you will remember for a long time. Please let us know if we can help you in any way.
